Each child is unique and special in so many ways.During my work I have formed attachment,through respect response and reciprocal techniques to make the children feel secure and confident. Moreover being trained in ELECT document enables me to observe and document the developmental goals and needs for every child. In addition, by implementing the program plans I have been successful in focusing the areas of development for every child through play and fun art and sensory activities. In my current job position in the junior preschool room we had a child with severe Autism. In the beginning it was challenging but working together as a team we were able to bring several positive changes in this child. For starters we worked on the strategy of positive behavior support and reward..... he would be listening to the teacher\'s short two or three words instruction he would be rewarded with his favorite car.For example \"jacket first then go out\" etc by showing him the transitional cards with pictures.
