Early Childhood Educator in Brantford, Ontario

Hello my name is Breanna Lindley and I am writing to apply for any Registered Early Childhood Educator positions currently available at various locations in Brantford, Ontario. I have recently graduated the Early Childhood Education program in August 2017 from Fanshawe College. I have experience as a Lead RECE working with all age groups as well as being the Assistant Director at the Appleby BrightPath Child Care. I currently work with the YMCA running their Toddler classroom. In my past experience, I have worked hands-on with children between the ages of birth – 14 years. I successfully completed two years of the Child and Youth Working program at Fanshawe College. I have gained many skills through my experience regarding conflict resolution, inclusive practices, maintaining healthy relationships, and positive guidance. I currently have my First Aid/CPR Level 3 certifications as well as a current Vulnerable Sector Screening. I am innovative and creative and love getting down with the kids and engaging in meaningful interactions throughout the day. I excel at paying close attention to details, supporting emotional development, communicating both written and verbally and implementing the curriculum to meet the needs, interests and talents of all children in my care. I believe it is important to proactively develop relationships with children, families, coworkers, peers and the community.
