Early Childhood Educator in Uxbridge, Ontario

Throughout my high school years I was a lifeguard and swimming instructor. After high school, I volunteered in Uxbridge as a soccer coach to under 4 year olds and under 8 year old boys. I really enjoyed it. I decided to go back to school for ECE as I missed working with children. Over the past 2 years I have completed 3 placements in a toddler room, pre-school room and in a kindergarten classroom. I have been told several times throughout my placements that \\\"working with children comes naturally to me as I have such a passion for it\\\". I have had an opportunity to work with a child with down syndrome and autism. I enjoyed working with these children on an individual basis and within the class. I have taken a course on \\\"Inclusion of Children with Special Needs\\\".
