Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

My experience was in a school setting and also a childcare setting. I loved it. The kids are so keen to learn. I didn\'t find it difficult because I love kids so it was more like spending time with them rather than work. I helped assist the teacher by helping the kids with their work when needed, photocopy, decorate and organize the classroom. In the childcare setting I assisted with caring for the kids by handing out snacks, helping them to the bathroom, setting up and implementing activities such as arts and craft, reading time, free time etc. My experience working with kids with special needs was challenging. It can be difficult at times. there good days where i find the kids are calm and cooperative and there are other days where they are just very distracted and moody.
