Early Childhood Educator in Thorold, Ontario

I have worked in the child care field since 2000 and I have taught variious age groups. In 2012, I returned to college to take the ECE program and graduated as a Niagara Scholar. I have planned and implemented programing for various age groups. Since Graduation, I have been employed with the Niagara Catholic school board and have enjoyed 3 long term assignments. In addition, I have supplied in many schools across the Niagara region. I believe children learn through play and therefore, I continuously bring forth new activities for the children to explore and learn. I recognize that children learn at their own pace and I am there to guide and enhance their learning experience and be their constant cheerleader. This is my passion...to watch a child grow and succeed. I have worked with mildly autistic children in my classroom and have modified activities based on their needs. I have also had Educational Assistants in the classroom who worked one on one with the children.
