With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Centennial College and over 10 years cumulative experience educating and guiding children from toddlers through to grade 4, I have gained an outstanding ability in understanding children’s capabilities and developing their hidden talents. I am a self starter who is capable of working independently and have shown exemplary team qualities when working on projects providing input and planning age appropriate activities based on the interests and needs of children I have worked with children with autism and am aware of the teaching strategies they need. For example children with autism are sensitive to their environment. Any change in the routine may cause frustration and result with impulse control so I kept transitions the same for as many activities as possible and tried to help them with visual support.
