Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

I was a student teacher for grades 1/2, 6, 9, and 10. I have volunteered in a grade 6 gifted class. I worked at an after-school sports program for underpriviledged children ages 8-12 for the City of Ottawa. I was a soccer coach for the City of Ottawa for children ages 5-15. I have tutored in grade 7 math. I was a volunteer camp counsellor. I have provided childcare. I have worked with gifted children in a grade 6 classroom setting, as well as children with learning disabilities/ Individual Education Plans (IEP's) in a grade 6 classroom as well as a grade 1 and grade 2 classroom. I have taken workshops and courses on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and a course on students with exceptionalities.
