Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

As a graduate from Ryerson University's Early Childhood Studies program, I have worked with children ages 2-8 from different settings for 4 years and have a very strong background in early years foundations. I have practicum experience in child care centres, Ontario early years centres, as well as newcomer centres for children. My various experiences across the ECE field have allowed me to become strong and flexible in taking on a variety of roles. From being an educator firsthand as well as being an assistant to a resource teacher, I have the knowledge and expertise in understanding how to promote children's learning and development to their fullest potential while also being sensitive to individual needs and identifying risks. As for my professional experience, I have worked at an early learning centre for children with special needs where I was responsible for facilitating inclusive practices, worked as a before/after school program teacher with the YMCA of Oakville and currently, am teaching English abroad in Hong Kong.
