Early Childhood Educator in London, Ontario

I have worked with children as young as one year old all the way to age seventeen. Every age group and every child is unique, I have an ability to recognize and deliver the essential guidance, support and nurturing for any child of any age. What makes up a child is more than just age, which is why I seek to fully understand not only the children I work with but my coworkers also and I use that understanding to help others flourish into their full potential. I have worked with and counselled under privileged children and special needs children including; blind, deaf, dyslexic, orphaned, aggression, autistic, down syndrome, ADD, ADHD, multiple personality disorder, depression, bi-polar, stunted growth, low social economic families, and eating disorders. I have been employed to coached or teach the following sports; soccer, volleyball, hockey, and snowboarding. On my own time I have also taught or helped teach canoeing, kayaking, sailing, basketball, futsal, tennis, badminton, biking, archery, rock climbing, zip lining, swimming, outdoor skills, and teamwork all of which I greatly enjoy participating in. Sports and activity are an essential part of my everyday life so being a role model and advocate for a healthy active lifestyle is an innate joy and gift of mine. Through experiences as a childcare assistant, sports coach, snowboard instructor, and Camp counselor I have refined my leadership skills. I first cultivated leadership abilities through captaincy of my own sports teams, and taking on leadership roles in group projects. In the past I have worked three food service jobs that garnished exemplary recognition for outstanding customer service and four sales jobs where I rose to be an award winning top performer.
