Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

I have lovingly taught in a variety of toddler, preschool, kindergarten and school age programs since graduating from the ECE program at Algonquin College in 2004. As a Head Teacher in a busy school age program, I also undertook the responsibilities of the Program Supervisor when needed. In addition to teaching in centres, I have also successfully run a home childcare program over the past 5 years which has strengthened my administrative skills, including: advertising, parent and child orientation and registration, program planning as well as financial bookkeeping. It has been a wonderful experience providing care for community children alongside my own children, however I now look forward to returning to a licensed group child care centre where I can utilize my skills on a larger scale.
