Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

My experience with children had always been a positive one. Since I was young, I always knew I wanted to work with children. Luckily enough, I was accepted into the ECE program and Algonquin college and over those 2 years I had three placements. 2 of those were kindergarten and one was preschool. Though they were different, being with different age groups taught me a lot about children\'s abilities to learn and my ability to teach. I have some experience with children with special needs. In my placements, I had some children that had Aspergers, Autism, Learning disabilities and Language Delays. They were amazing to work with. I learned a lot about those special needs and it was fun to work with them and do activities with them.
