Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

Hi, I am Tammy and I have 30 years of experience working with children. When I first entered this field I worked as a nanny in Calgary, AB. I loved it and decided to take the plunge and got my degree in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria. From there I went on to work in a centre in Winnipeg. It was there that I met and married my husband and where we had our son. I had a longing to return to Alberta and we moved to Edmonton, AB. We have been here ever since. I worked in a couple of centres, but when I needed to stay home with my son I opened and ran a day home for 8 years until 2016. In 2019 I embarked on building my own centre which I just sold. I am now looking for a Director Position. With my experience in running my own centre, I believe I would be an asset to your company. I did payroll, worked with my accountant for the finances, reported on the AG's, did scheduling, hired and let go of staff, worked an HR company which taught me about OHS and managing human resources in a business.
