Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

Working with children is my passion. I enjoy planning, collaborating and implementing activities to enhance children’s emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development. I had experiences working with different age groups (toddlers, pre-school, SK/ Grade 1 and school age) during my placement. I had the opportunity to work with children with special needs and their families during my placement while taking the ECAS (Early Childhood Advanced Studies with Special Needs). I had the opportunity to have hands on experience with children with special needs such as autism. I collaborated with the other professionals in the room and we were able to plan and implement activities that will support the child’s development. Through these experiences I was able to enhance my skills in observation, environmental modification/ adaptation, family centered practice and team work.
