Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

I have had a vast amount of experience in working with kids from my experience of being a babysitter for 7 years and then working at the Boys and Girls Club of North Simcoe for the past three years. I am also a Sunday School Teacher at Unity United Church and have cared for very young children there, and have babysat children from 3 months old to 12 years old. As an employee with the Boys and Girls Club I ran several different programs including Reading Club, Homework Club, Metis Cooking School, Dance Crew, Singing Programs and much more. I also worked as a one on one worker for kids with Inclusive needs as a summer camp counselor with the organization. I also have experience working with large groups of children from when I was a Historical Interpreter with Huronia Historical Parks and had to lead families around the site. I have had experience working with children with special needs through my work with the Boys and Girls Club of North Simcoe as a one on one worker for Summer Camp and in my work with the after school program. I have worked with children with special needs from age 4-14 and am confident in my abilities to work calmly and happily with children of this nature.
