Early Childhood Educator in Cochrane, Alberta

I have worked with children for about 11 years. During this time I completed my ELCC diploma through Bow Valley College. The age groups I have most experience with is toddler, preschool and school aged. I have 2 years experience as a day home consultant monitoring about 20-25 day home providers and providing supports to their programs. I have worked with children with ADD/ADHD, behavior challenges and learning disabilities. I have worked with Supported Child Care and School professionals to provide inclusive environment for high needs children. Before choosing to stay home with my son,I was the program supervisor of a children's center designed specifically to meet the needs of children who have experienced various forms of trauma (abuse, neglect, domestic violence, refugees etc.)
