Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

I am a mother of two who is self motivated and enthusiastic. I love a challenge and the opportunity to learn. I believe that all children are unique and deserve the opportunity to develop as unique individuals with guidance from caring adults. I am a strong believer that the first step to child development starts with the family which is why strong family relationship are so important to build. I have had a day home for 5 years followed by a supervisor position in a childcare center. My time as room supervisor included documentation as well as leading staff in professional development as well as being a sound board for staff children and their families moving on to the assistant director of the center. I also have worked in the school system as an educational assistant working with children whom have behavior issues, speech delays as well as gross or and fine motor delays. I am looking for a position which would allow to further my experiences in other aspects of the child care field.
