Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! My name is Sara Harasymchuk, and I am a 28 year old woman living in NW Calgary. I have had 9 years experience as a Child Care Assistant and a Director in Out of School Care. I was able to achieve Licensing Certification and Accreditation Certification during my time as a Director with a lot of research, hard work, and drive fueled by my passion for children. My mission in Child Care is to assist in the creation of a positive, engaging, and accepting environment where children can learn and express their individuality. Within the Out of School Care center that I directed, I was keen on giving the children autonomy by allowing them space and time to create rules, guidelines, expectations, and activities within the center. I also encouraged the children to gain a sense of community and altruism through projects within the center. I have a diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling, Level 3 Child Development Supervisor certificate, First Aid and Police checks. I am available for a position that begins in January 2020.
