Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hello, My name is Kaitlyn, I am 31 years old and absolutely adore children. I’m currently on maternity leave with my beautiful 6 month old daughter. I thought in the meantime I would update my profile and casually start looking for a position to start around August/September of 2024. That being said, I would not be opposed to work the occasional day here and there until then. I have many years of experience within the different fields of childcare. I started babysitting as most do, fell in love and went from there. I have been a camp counsellor, emergent learning facilitator, child development worker, child development specialist, nanny and respite care. I honestly do not see myself ever working outside the scope of childcare. I currently have my CDW (Level 2) and plan to complete my level 3 in the near future. Meaningful planning is so important to me, as to allow the child(ren) a fun and educational way to explore, learn, play and develop. I have my first aid certification, criminal and intervention checks, and my CDW. I have been to many professional development courses (as you can always learn something new), and I even know some sign language. I am looking for a supervisory role to spread my care, knowledge and commitment to have outstanding early learning childcare. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
