Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

• Early Childhood Education Diploma; valid Standard First-Aid & CPR Certificate; current Criminal Reference Check (within 6 months) • 7 years of experience working with children ranging in age from 1-6, within a range of settings, including child care, kindergarten and school • Experience with emergent curriculum • Demonstrated knowledge and applied understanding of the principles of ELECT • Demonstrated understanding of How Does Learning Happen • Use Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice to guide personal practice • Practical knowledge of Assessment for Quality Improvement • Excellent interpersonal skill and team management abilities • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese to serve culturally diverse communities
