Early Childhood Educator in Montreal, Quebec

My name is Michelle Giarrusso and I am a fully qualified educator with over 9 years of experience in the field. I have a diploma in Child Studies from Vanier College and an attestation certificate in Early Childhood Education from La Salle College. I speak English, French (I took courses in the evening to further advance my French speaking and writing skills) and fluently in Italian. I have four years of experience as an educator at Garderie Le Fou Rire where I learned a lot about working with children of all ages, starting from 8 months up to 5 years old. Currently, I am working at a pre-kindergarten in the Honore Mercier elementary school as a French teacher, assistant to the English teacher and daycare educator. Throughout my years of working with children, I have grown to be confident around them and understand what they need and how to communicate with them. I also know how to stay organized which is necessary in a fast paced environment. Teaching and nurturing children is my passion and I strongly believe that receiving a great education from a young age is an essential part of growing up to be a successful adult.
