Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I successfully completed the Early Childhood Education Diploma Program at Mohawk College in 2010. My passion for children and youth has constantly given me the desire to advance my knowledge and skills; therefore, I also obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Youth studies from Brock University in 2013. I have six years combined experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, Tutor, Project Facilitator and Program Supervisor. During my employment and work placements, I have had the opportunity to work with children from different age groups, cultural backgrounds and abilities. I am very passionate about working for the well being of children and being able to provide a positive caring relationship. My experiences in being a host teacher for students in Seneca and Centennial College have allowed me learn to be an effective mentor and to role model through positive interactions with families and children. I am a creative and hardworking professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable me to establish good working relationships with children, parents and colleagues. I hold a valid driver’s licence and possess reliable transportation and am very flexible and willing to commute.
