Early Childhood Educator in Nanton, Alberta

My name is Erin Zeller, l have my diploma in Earl Childhood Education and have been working in the field for the past 8 years. I have worked in a variety of programs and with multiple ages. Until April I had been working in Edmonton at a daycare with 17 month - 3.5 year olds. I had been invloved with re-accredidation process and was the team lead for the re-accredidation committee. In my previous years of childcare experience I have worked at a program that followed a family grouping style, which means I had children ranging in ages from 18 months up to 6 years in the same room. This experience taught me how to plan and implement program for a multitude of ages simultaneously. Throughout my years in childcare I have been responsible for writing monthly news letters, parent notices, documentation on children, and weekly blogs. I have also worked closely with the curriculum framework in the past 2 years and was involved in the phase 2 pilot project for the development of the curriculum framework.
