Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! My name is April and I'm an experienced Early Childhood educator based in Calgary, Alberta. I have been working in the field of early childhood education for over 28 years and have worked in a variety of environments, including as an assistant Director, Preschool teacher, Toddler teacher and school aged children. I have a deep passion for working with young children and helping them develop to their fullest potential. I have a strong knowledge of working in a childcare setting/preschool. I am also skilled in using a variety of other teaching approaches, including play-based learning. I have experience working with children from different backgrounds, cultures and abilities, and I am an advocate for inclusion in early childhood settings. I strive to create meaningful and engaging learning opportunities for each individual child in my care.
