Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I am a certified Montessori Children's House Assistant (Association Montessori Internationale) currently pursuing a two-year post-degree B...... at the University of Calgary with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I also have my Early Childhood Certification. I am the substitute assistants' list for two Montessori schools in Calgary and tutor part-time with TutorDoctor in Calgary (students range from four to 24, and I work with a number of special needs students). Teaching has always been important to me (I used to tutor in Northern Ireland, UK, in the 1990s and also taught children's creative writing classes there; in the 2000s, I taught English and Communications to university students at the University of Calgary). However, much of my attention in the past 20 years has been focused on my career in marketing and communications, which has given me considerable administrative and communications experience across a number of industries including publishing, media, technology, energy, educational nonprofits, and government.
