Early Childhood Educator in Winnipeg, Manitoba

My name is Ivana. I arrived to Canada on 1st of September from Croatia. I have a valid work permit through the working holiday visa program and a Canadian approved medical to work with children. I am classified as ECE II in Manitoba. I have lots of work experience from back home in Croatia as well as working abroad in Germany and in Canada. I graduated from the Faculty of Teacher Education as a preschool teacher and throughout my years at school worked as a babysitter and early childhood assistant. In 2012 I got my first working holiday visa and moved to Canada to gain new experiences, working in customer service and improving my English. I have spent the last two years in Germany, working in kindergarten as an early childhood educator and becoming fluent in German. It was an open concept of kindergarten with no groups. I was also responsible for organizing activities for preschool children and teaching and guiding them in developing their skills for school. I work well as a member of a team and on my own and am a fast learner. I am enthusiastic, patient, responsible and friendly. I am flexible, respect differences and have good communication skills. I am also very willing to learn new skills.
