Early Childhood Educator in Bobcaygeon, Ontario

I am a dedicated, compassionate, Registered Early Childhood Educator with a passion for children’s learning. I am currently employed with Trillium Lakelands District School as a supply early childhood educator. My past employment, I was an ECE at at the Bobcaygeon Nursery School and Daycare Corporation full -time for 5 years, as well as the site supervisor for the before and after school program, located at Bobcaygeon Public School for two years. I have seven years of experience working in an early childhood setting, which has helped me to gain extensive familiarity with the field of early childhood education. In addition to being extremely organized, I am creative and enthusiastic when it comes to children’s learning. I take pride in promoting new ways of teaching by using open ended materials and proactive behaviour. I have an extensive knowledge of child development and play based learning. I possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with the children, staff, and families of your community. I am punctual, dependable, character-driven and self-disciplined. I take pride in my ability to work independently, as well as, accepting constructive criticism while contributing to being part of a team. I enjoy meeting new people, and have the ability to build positive relationships. I promote the inclusion, support and safety of all children and families.
