Early Childhood Educator in Waterloo, Ontario

I was babysitting for two families, one with three boys (10 months, 5, 7) and one with three girls (2, 4, 7) for a year. I have been doing research with children from 2 - 5 and their families for 5 years. I volunteer for YMCA and KidsAbility to help facilitate learning in children who have Autism and reading difficulties. I am currently an elementary school teacher at Oxford Learning Center teaching computation and reading comprehension skills to elementary school aged children, some with ADHD, Autism, and learning difficulties. I volunteer for an elementary school and KidsAbility to help out with the special need classrooms. I assist the special education teacher with classroom logistics and provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for kids with exceptionalities. I teach one on one to children who have Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
