Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

I started working with children in Japan as an English language instructor, and I found the job very rewarding. When I returned to Canada I chose to further pursue a career in the ECE industry. I attended Algonquin College at the Pembroke campus, and graduated with my Early Childhood Educator diploma as well as several other awards. Since 2008 I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of childcare centres. Most recently I've been working split shifts, covering Jr.Preschool every morning, and working with school-age children every afternoon. It's been a great 4 and a half years, but I'm ready for the next stage of my life and career. I have extensive experience working with preschool, kindergarten, and school-age children in childcare settings. I've also had the opportunity to work with a number of children on the Autism spectrum as a support staff.
