Non for profit program facilitator - childcare provider - playgroup facilitator - home visitation - administered developmental screening and support - referrals I have worked with a number of children with special needs. In my previous job experience part of my job was doing screenings to identify what exactly their special needs may be. In Identifying special needs I then provided supports, information and referrals to caregivers if need be or worked with families to ensure their children needs and best opportunities were met. Special in children that I am familiar with are: sensory disorder, FASD, mild autism, birth defects/nerve damage, speech delay, and gross motor limitations.
