Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

Currently, I am working as a lunchroom supervisor at Peel District School Board. In this capacity I support students with multiple exceptionalities such as students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome and Learning Disability. Before moving to Mississauga, I worked at Toronto District School board as a Noon Hour Assistant for five years. I have achieved the degree in Bachelor of Education from India, and I am currently enrolled in Humber College, Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program. I am in 4th semester at present. I have done all four of my ECE placements and had a valuable opportunity to work with infant, preschool, kindergarten and school age group children. I have a strong knowledge of “Elect” and “How Does Learning Happen”. I would like to continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a challenging and fun learning environment for children. I am very flexible and willing to work any shift. I am very familiar and experienced with the behaviour intervention method utilized by the school board in developmental disability intensive support program. Intervention method such as BMS, behaviour shaping and prompting. In my fifteen years of professional experience which includes teaching experience I have achieved a reputation of a hard worker, a person of great patience and works excellent as a team member as well as independently.
