Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

I have a current First Aide certificate, up-to-date Security clearance, Alberta child care certificate level 2 and a current Vulnerable check. I have completed my Child Development Worker Training with McBride Career Group. Through my classroom experiences and my experiences with Options Academy, I have developed a clear understanding of child development, child guidance, and class room management techniques. I have gained experience with guiding children to complete tasks, assisting lead teachers by working one on one with children who are struggling in the classroom environment, and planning engaging activities following the interests of children. I feel I would be a good fit in any classroom environment because of my abilities to be self - directed, efficient, and calm. This is a career change for me from the business world, but having had my own children, I decided I wanted to find a career where I could make a difference for children and families.
