. My passion is helping children achieve classroom successes, each child behaves and learn differently, with an open mind I can meet the needs of a child and their environment. With my short 5 months as an Educational Assistant, it has given me a fresh perspective on how each child needs differ, each day a child might need less or more regulation into inclusion. As a childcare educator I provide caring, loving and guidance in a child’s development, treating a child as a citizen gives the right to learn and explore at their own pace in a group or as an individual. I believe that children are citizens and the childcare center is their community by treating a child as a citizen it helps children gain independence. I feel by honoring the child’s challenges that will help the child to succeed. I would love to have my own room in a childcare center to promote children as mighty learners also give them experiences that are child-centered and not teacher directed.
