Early Childhood Educator in Whitby, Ontario

I completed the Educational Assistant course in June 2008 and was hired by the Durham Catholic District School Board two weeks later. I was in mostly LTO positions and was often requested to return to many schools to cover additional LTO positions when they arose. I worked in many kindergarten classrooms with many special needs children and found this age group the most enjoyable and gratifying. I can provide numerous references from both principles and teachers to support my caring nature, reliability, flexibility and many other attributes essential for the role of Educational Assistant. I possess various certificates such as non violent crisis intervention, 3 day Geneva Autism training, positive practices in classroom management, back injury prevention,how to set limits with students and this year completed a computer essentials course at Durham College.
