Early Childhood Educator in Victoria, British Columbia

I worked for 2 years with children and youth aged 4-18. I worked for the YMCA Camp Chief Hector and developed an outdoor garden that was visited by 1000 children throughout a summer and guided children through educational activities both outdoor and indoors and was in charge of groups of children, I also led week-long wilderness trips with youth 11-17 at Strathcona Park Lodge, there I also developed soft skill curriculum for children and teenagers and developed a big repertoire of group activities , and worked for an environmental education center in Germany for half year leading and assisting in activities for children age 5-14., I also helped develop a program for elementary schools in Montreal that supplemented their sciences classes with environmental education, and food systems education I have some experience working with children with special needs, specifically at the environmental education center I assisted children with special needs in regards to movement, during my time doing guided outdoor trips I worked with many children diagnosed with ADHD or other disorders in this vein.
