I have worked with various age groups,providing a play based program that fosters the complete development of the children. I practice emergent curriculum and am responsible for implementing a safe and positive curriculum that pays attention to individual needs within the group. I plan, program and implement a curriculum that is in accordance with ELECT and "How Does Learning Happen?" I have conducted reports and parent interviews, planned and implemented field trips and worked with various professionals. I enjoy a positive environment that is creative and nurturing. My latest experience is with a non-profit, co-operative called Beaches Co-operative Playschool. I have been with this nursery school, toddler and preschool program, since September 2016. I have several experiences working with children with special needs. I have worked with kids with autism in my childcare program and have worked alongside professionals such as OTs, speech and language therapists and psycologists. I have incorporated inclusive activities and experiences into my weekly programs to foster the special needs of children.
