Early Childhood Educator in Etobicoke, Ontario

I have completed my Early Childhood Education Diploma at Humber College with Honours standing. I have successfully completed my four field placements at Young Artists Day Care, Northwest Childhood Learning Centre, St. Benedict Catholic School, and Humberwood Downs Junior Middle Academy. During my placement I worked with infants, toddlers, and 7-8 years old. My student teacher assignments were to actively participate at the assigned settings and prepare lesson plans in coordination with my placement supervisor. In addition, I volunteered in grade 1 class at Stanley Mills Public School and JK/SK class at Humberwood Downs Junior Middle Academy. I assisted teacher in preparing bulletin boards. I participated in reading program called “Reading for reluctant readers” and used appropriate reading strategies. I contributed by helping the teacher preparing children for multicultural concert.
