Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

I am passionate about the Montessori method, and I'm driven by the enjoyment and satisfaction gained from working with young children. I am interested in working at a school that fosters the development of mind and character, and ingrains a strong sense of community within the children. I have nearly 6 years of experience working as a Directress, including 4 years working with a blended EYFS (early years foundation stage) and Montessori curriculum. I hold an AMI 3-6 International Diploma from the Maria Montessori Training Organization (UK), in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester (UK). In addition, I hold the following certifications: Pre-school Learning Alliance Quality Improvement Scheme 2014 - 2... Paediatric First Aid training 2011 and 2016 Fire Safety training 2016 Child Safety and Protection training 2011 and 2016 Special Educational Needs & Disability Diploma Course 2017 (Ongoing) I currently work in Dubai, UAE, and I'm seeking to move to Canada.
