Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

A mature young woman, nurturing and compassionate looking to teach and grow. While building a foundation for learning. Fluent in Polish! I have 4 years of professional experience in a early learning/child care centre environment. Experience working in infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten classrooms. I also have about 11 years of experience as a babysitter and home child care. I most recently was a full-time Early Childhood Assistant in a preschool classroom. I am the oldest of 6 siblings - youngest being 2 & 4. My experience of child care is not only within a centre; but, within the home as well. In high school I completed my co-op placement in a Montessori daycare centre. I have experience with Frog Street and Emergent curriculum; I have planned and led activities from the curriculum programming materials. I also am experienced with "Hi-Mama" programming. I am fluent in Polish. Graduated from high school with honours and scholar awards in 2014. I attended Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning during high school for a dual credit program and successfully graduated a Social Psychology Certificate program in 2013. I am a professional, young individual not opposed to learning new things - I love knowledge! I try to expand my knowledge and skills daily! I have experience in other job fields such as: retail, customer service, beauty industry, and office environment. I have been part of sales, front of and back of store, entry level and management roles. Following rules, making rules and enforcing rules has never been difficult for me. With all these experiences, I have learned many things ranging from team work to individual growth. I have been known to be the "go-getter". I have always taken initiative; usually before anyone else does and occasionally before I am told. I bring a nurturing, compassionate, patient, respectful, extraordinary personality to any environment I join! I feel that with the experience I possess and the knowledge I am willing to gain, I would be a fantastic asset to any team! I am looking for a part-time and/or full-time position within a daycare and/or child care centre. I would love the opportunity to grow with a company and be somewhere long-term. As of September 2019 I will be returning to school to complete my Early Childhood Education diploma (graduating January 2020). Having a centre that will support me while I complete my education would be an amazing opportunity! I would enjoy being with a company or centre where I can develop my skills and as an individual; as well as, bring my experience to environment I am in.
