Early Childhood Educator in Hamilton, Ontario

I am an experienced early childhood and elementary educator looking for employment in Hamilton, Ontario. I specialize in leading classrooms, assisting teachers and supplying teachers. I have a passion for teaching and am driven to ensure the best outcomes for the children I am responsible for. During my tenure in the classroom I spent two years teaching in Thailand at an international school, teaching children from all over the world. I also spent 5 weeks in rural Uganda training teachers how to teach the English language, an incredibly humbling experience. Since having my own classroom (my last year in a classroom was teaching JK) I have organized and run 8 weeks of camp for children with special needs on a hobby farm with great success and ever lasting relationships. I am a dedicated and reliable educator, with experience in a variety of educational programs and methods. I have experience in providing support for teachers in their classrooms as well as, running my own classroom. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and am continuously looking for ways to expand my knowledge and skills.
