Early Childhood Educator in Richmond Hill, Ontario

Hello, I am a recent Early Childhood Leadership graduate who is eager to apply my knowledge in the field. I have experience working with children and families in various childcare centres, day camps and parenting centres. When planning for the children in my care I use the Early Learning Framework, How Does Learning Happen?, Think Feel Act and the Full-Day Early Learning-Kindergarten Program document. When creating curriculum plans, I ensure they stem from children's interests and goals which supports children's language, emotional, social, physical and cognitive development. While designing lesson plans, I create inclusive learning opportunities which enables children to feel cable, competent and wanted. While working with children with special needs I would work closely along the side of partnering early childhood educators, resource teachers and the children families when seeking support.
