Early Childhood Educator Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a full time permanent Assistant Manager/Out of School Care supervisor for our not for profit school age childcare and Preschool center. We are located on the west side of Vancouver. We have fun, active, inclusive and educational programs for children aged 18 months to 12 years and we are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, flexible, organised, dedicated and motivated person to join our team. The successful candidate will need to have specific skills, ideas, and activities to bring to the Out of School Care program, as well as previous experience with working with children. Must currently have or be willing to obtain class 4 driving license for picking up children from school daily and field trip driving in a 15 passenger van. Must have basic computer skills. Must be comfortable and skilled in interpersonal relationships with coworkers, children, families, and government agencies. Must be very organised, able to be very flexible and take initiative in a constantly changing environment. The position is Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. The position will start full time at the beginning of September with part time training and orientation through summer. Position suitable for someone living in the Vancouver area.
