Westboro Montessori School is currently looking for a caring and energetic Program Coordinator to join our team. Ideally candidate should - Develop and implement programs that support and promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children, using the Montessori philosophy and methodology - Supervise and co-ordinate Head teachers and assistant teachers in their program implementation to ensure compliance with Montessori philosophy and methodology - Responsible for physical resource acquisition (purchase of materials, supplies, etc) - Support teachers and assistants in carrying out Montessori programming and learning - Assist in keeping records - Observe children for developmental milestones and prepare reports and conduct meetings with parents to discuss - Knowledge of day Nurseries Act and licensing regulations - Work directly with children - Assess childrens' progress and needs, and communicate them to other staff at meetings, and to parents - Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
