Early Childhood Educator Job in Toronto, Ontario

Bessborough Child Care Centre is a not for profit centre located in the Leaside area within Bessborough Drive Elementary & Middle School. We provide quality early learning and care for children ages 4 to 12 years old. We are currently looking to hire an awesome RECE for September 2017 on a 10 month contract. This RECE will be working from 7:00 am - 10:00 am and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with our energetic school agers. To fill the time in between this big shift, TDSB has offered to hire this RECE as a supply lunch room supervisor (1 hr/15min). A successful candidate should meet the following requirements; ECE diploma Valid RECE designation Valid Standard First Aid/CPR as per CCEYA requirements A clear health and vulnerable criminal reference check Working knowledge of CCEYA, AQI requirements, ELECT and HDLH Principals Ability to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to carry out the physical duties and tasks of our centre's daily routine.
