Early Childhood Educator in Vancouver, British Columbia

Most recently I was the Literacy Coordinator with Ray-Cam Cooperative Centre where I planned educational activities for their Latch Key program (Kindergarten -Grade 5). I have also subbed in their daycare. I have experience working as a nanny and babysitter intermittently over the past 4 years. I have volunteered with various daycares, schools and libraries facilitating story-time sessions and encouraging early literacy. I worked as a "Family Fun" coordinator for a theatre festival setting up a play area for children aged 5-12. I was responsible for supervision of up several children and I also programmed creative activities and stations to keep them occupied. I have completed the Responsible Adult Training which enables me to work in School Age Group Child Care, in Occasional Child Care, or as a replacement (substitute/casual on call) for ECE Assistants.
