Early Childhood Educator in Newmarket, Ontario

Babysitting - neighbors and moms friend (2 with autism), worked as a kidnergarten teachers assistant for 1 semester with 4-6 year olds (very very fun!), nannied for a family in Toronto for 3 weeks (little boy), took for walks with his dog, played games, fed, put to bed... Enjoyable. Was assistant for special Ed class in high school for 2 semesters and really enjoyed it and connected with the students (my age and younger as I was in gr 13 extra year), and also babysat 2 autistic children friends of my parents - which was really enjoyable too (sometimes alone and sometimes with me friend) and we connected with and had fun with the 2 boys. At times one or 2 of them would freak out though or really not want to clean their mess which they intentionally made at one time, or cooperate, pouring out the toys after I put them back to tidy them. Their mom intervened at the end to get them to clean up and ask me what happened.
