Early Childhood Educator in Barrie, Ontario

I have been teaching in Australia for the past 3 years in a variety of settings which will be detailed in the next section. I taught as a casual teacher as well as full time in a Special Developmental School. I have worked a variety of settings with children as a teacher. Most recently I spent two years working as a Special Education teacher in Australia where I worked with students with multiple and profound disabilities. I have planned programs for students with varying needs some of which developmentally were suitable for children aged 6-18 months. I have designed and implemented IEP's for each student in my class and went through several reporting cycles. I have worked with behaviour management specialists and have developed and refined a positive behaviour management philosophy that can be tailored to each individual student.
