Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hi there! My name is Kayla Zimmer. I have been in the Early childhood field since 2013! I love it. I have my level 3! I went to school at Lethbridge college and MRU where I did ,my ECE diploma. I have worked at various child care centres throughout the years such as the U of C daycare, way back when I first started in 2013, and other centres such as Kids and Company and a cool place called 2000 days. I then realized I wanted to try before and after school care. I have spent the last four and a half years at an amazing before and after school care centre, and have learned so much. I am currently working there until I can find a new position. I bet you’re wondering why do I want to leave? Well I’ve been there long enough to know that the position doesn’t challenge me anymore. There is no room for me to grow anymore. I want a challenge In a good way! I want to truly make a difference and prove to myself that I can do more than what I am currently doing .I think an assistant director position would be an amazing step forward but if I need to work my way up I understand that too!
