Early Childhood Educator in Oakville, Ontario

It is with great enthusiasm that I am submitting my application for a position of Supply Designated Early Childhood Educators/Teaching Assistant. I am currently working with Peel District School Board as a Casual Designated Early Childhood Educator. I provide Valuable support to children in different schools under the PDSB. I hope to bring my Early Childhood Educator expertise from my current job and utilize classroom management skills, note-worthy teaching strategies and wide-ranging ways to engage with children from different background. I have over five years of relevant experience working with children, parents and teachers and I enjoy working in diverse school communities and work environments where I am able to transfer my field placement and hands-on skills. Furthermore, my previous experience in a child care setting through community programs has been motivating and rewarding and has given me exposure to learn different learning styles. I am eager to become a member of your team of educators and provide supervision and guidance of daily activities. I am experienced with implementing creative activities using both theory and activity-based teaching to develop skills and promote a healthy environment for children. One document that I focus upon is the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) framework I refer to when planning activities. I have the ability to actively meet the needs of all children in various circumstances. Furthermore, I have a good understanding of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA). All years of my teaching experience make me confident that I am a strong candidate for the job. I am punctual, detail oriented and flexible while completing all tasks, and an effective communicator in both written and verbal formats.
