Early Childhood Educator in Milton, Ontario

I am currently licensed as a registered early childcare educator and worked as a program director. My work experiences have allowed me to acquire many skills that would be very beneficial for this position, such as having leadership roles, strong communicating skills and adapting to fast paced environments. For over ten years now, I have worked in a childcare facility, ranging in duties as an ECA, RECE and a program director. This has allowed me to gain experience dealing with children, parents and supervising staff. The constant exposure of communicating with parents and businesses associated with the centre, has helped strengthen my knowledge, interpersonal skills and increase my confidence. My ability to speak in multiple languages, such as Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, can be helpful also. Being a program director allowed me to deal with the ministry directly to ensure that the centre maintains its license, which is another form of knowledge and skill I can offer. Understanding and being responsible for the centres program as well as managing staff is another key experience I can provide. Along with this, I am also trained to perform CPR and first aid.
