I am a fully qualified Montessori Teacher from Birth to Seven and Early Years Educator. My diploma was gained in the United Kingdom where I lived from December 2015 to December 2017. I completed a 400 hour Professional Placement with an MEAB accredited Montessori school in Hampshire. I am currently studying a BA (Hons) Psychology Major, Sociology Minor with Laurentian University through distance education part time.

In addition to this I have a Certificate of Higher Education in English Literature from Oxford University and a number of training courses including an ABA Certification with The Geneva Centre for Autism, American Sign Language 101 from The Canadian Hearing Services, and Anaphylaxis and Allergy training.

My work experience includes Head Teacher of the Infant/Toddler room at a Montessori school, Program Counsellor for Extend-A-Family, Special Needs Nanny in Ireland for twin five year old boys with Level 4 ASD, Kindergarten Support Teacher for a Waldorf school, Site Supervisor for a summer camp, Before and After School Teacher for the YMCA, Nanny with multiple families mostly found through this website, Daycare Worker in the UK, School Holiday Club Worker, Private Tutor for elementary and university aged students, and Montessori Supply Teaching. I have experience working with newborns all the way up to adults. As well as experience with severe allergies (Epi-Pens, FPIES), diabetes, cochlear implant, partial blindness, speech delay, gross motor delay, aggressive behaviour, dyslexia, ASD (Level 1-4, verbal and nonverbal), ADD, VPD, ADHD, and ODD.

My personal interests include baking/cooking, reading, history and traveling. In the future I would like to become a developmental delay and learning disability specialist working in the education sector.
